Q: What are your office hours?

A: Monday- Saturday 7:30am-6pm and the Doctors go by appointment.

Q: Do you take walk-ins?

A: We encourage appointments due to the unpredictability of our field. The Doctors and technicians are not always available due to surgeries and hospitalized patients so appointments are encouraged.

Q: Are you a 24hr facility?

A: Countryside Veterinary Hospital is NOT a 24hr facility and if critical patients need 24hr supervision or you have an emergency outside of our normal business hours please contact Animal Urgent Care in Escondido or Veterinary Speciality Hospital in San Marcos

Q: What vaccines does my dog or cat need?

A: In order to protect the staff, other patients, and you as an owner, your pet needs to be up-to-date on his/her vaccines in order for us to provide services for your pet. Dogs need a current Rabies, Bordetella, and DHPP. Cats need a current Rabies, FVRCP, and Leukemia vaccines. For more information on these vaccines CLICK HERE

Q: How much do vaccines for my dog and/or cat cost?

A: Dogs: Rabies:$12; Bordetella:$16:49; DHPP:$19.99.; DHPPC(for puppies):$25.99

Cats: Rabies:$12; FVRCP: $15.99; FELV:$18.99

Discounted vaccine prices are available during our shot clinics which are every 3rd Saturday of each month. Please call ahead to be put on the list.

Q: What forms of payment do you accept?

A: We accept Care Credit, Cash, Check, Visa, Mastercard, and Discover.

Q: Is the office closed on any holiday dates?

A: Yes, we are closed: Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years Day, Labor Day, the 4th of July, and Memorial Day.

Q: Do you offer boarding and grooming?

A:Yes, we are affiliated with Muddy Paws Country Spa and can offerfull service grooming by appointment. Pending availability, you can add grooming to your dog’s boarding or daycare stay. Contact  Muddy Paws Country Spa at 760-749-3771
